Karen Strachan is the CEO and founder of Luminosity Skin and Laser Clinic and comes with over 20 years’ experience in the skin industry. Her background as a nurse injector, holding multiple diplomas as well as working with one of Australia’s leading plastic surgeons has placed her in a position of expertise and is one of the industry’s leading experts in skin issues. Karen’s passion is for skin rejuvenation with laser treatments and wants every client to love the skin they’re in.

Karen has formulated her own Lumi Skin Care brand understanding that Australia’s men and women need a simplified, easy to use but effective skin care. Her Passion is in assisting patients with safe and effective skin treatments Karen is dedicated to providing these treatments in a private and confidential environment, allowing you the patient to relax knowing someone wants the best for you! Her own skincare Lumi®, has been developed to be both affordable and effective.

Dr Kath a highly experienced GP with a personal approach is Luminosity Skin's Medical Director. Overseeing all medical treatments held within the skin clinic including injectables and laser services. Dr. Kath is passionate about the diagnosis and care plan management of the following: Skin lesions and assessment, Skin and mole checks, Rosacea, Sensitive skin disorders, Dermatitis, Pigmentation assessment, Acne management, assessment of skin disorders and hormonal imbalances, Topical prescriptions for skin, Referrals to a dermatologist or plastic surgeon and assessment for injectable treatments.

Dr Kath specialises in skin treatments, skin diagnosis and mole checks. She has had a special interest in skin conditions and has been treating for over 20 years.

Dr Daniel Marrow is an Australian-based health professional. Daniel is trained as a GP (General Practitioner) with a special interest in Dermatology. Practicing for many years in Drysdale, he is a Geelong native and has a large client base in the city and surrounding area. Dan's qualifications and experience are within the specialised skin solutions and Dermatology space.

With a particular interest in all things skin health and sun damage, he is an expert when it comes to comprehensive skin cancer checks.

Having spent 22 years as a nurse and an injector for the past 5, Natalie has an intrinsic knowledge and understanding of the anatomy, and the processes of ageing. Proudly a conservative injector and practitioner believing in natural results, Natalie’s ethos align perfectly with ours and she truly believers in celebrating everyone’s unique beauty.

A master at anti-wrinkle, dermal filler and various other treatment types, we can’t wait to see what new techniques and treatments she will bring to the Luminosity stable.

Jill has a passion for treating skin concerns with a focus on helping people. Jill has a real understanding of men and womens skin treatments completing her Dermal Science Degree in late 2018. Jill's extensive science and skin knowledge with show in her detailed and comprehensive skin consultation. She is an excellent listener providing an educated service with attention to detail.

Facials, Tattoo Removal, Pigmentation and Scar Revision are her specialties. Providing a reassuring and caring treatment targeting on achieving results.

Rebecca Jarvis has an extensive list of qualifications and experience in General Practice Medicine and skin cancer medicine. She’s bringing her broad expertise to skinMD on Mondays and we’re so excited to have another female GP as part of our team.

Hosting all aspects of patient care, customer appointments and post-operative services. Her passion is health and happiness.

Justine is a Registered Nurse who has studied at the Australasian Academy of Cosmetic Dermal Science to obtain her Graduate Diploma of Cosmetic Nursing. She has a background of 11 years of Emergency & Trauma Nursing under her belt and a profound understanding of anatomy and the skin. She is specifically interested in medical grade laser and formulating at home skincare routines using high quality, reputable products to support your skin goals.

Justine can’t wait to meet new and existing clients of skinMD & Luminosity and help them on their skin journeys.

Liz is an accomplished nurse practitioner and skin and laser technician. With a background with working with a plastic surgeon for the past 9 years, her anatomy and skin knowledge is extensive.

Sarah has recently moved back to her hometown of Geelong after a stint living in WA. She comes to us with 5 years of injecting experience, 14 years hospital experience working in a hospital and is not only a registered nurse, but a member of the Cosmetic Nurses Association. Her toolkit is extensive and she’s available for our full range of injectable treatments.
